At the beginning of the new millennium, he devoted himself to the study of ancient scripts, practicing the calligraphy styles of the Yishan Rock Inscriptions, Huiqiao Rock Inscriptions, Oracle Bone Script, Duke Mao Tripod Inscription, the Chenghuang Temple Inscription by the Tang calligrapher Li Yangbing, and Written to Zhu Yuansi (an essay by Wu Jun in the Southern Dynasties)by the Qing calligrapher Wu Rangzhi.

In 2012 and 2013, he led delegations to Seoul, South Korea, twice for calligraphy and painting exchanges and Ground Calligraphy performances, bringing Chinese calligraphic and painting arts to the world stage. He created a calligraphic acrostic poem for the Mayor of Gwangju, Kang Woon-tae, and his works were permanently collected by the Gwangju City Government and the Eunpyeong Welfare Center in Seoul. Pursuit, Boundless
Jiaxi often tells us, "The ultimate pursuit of traditional Chinese philosophy advocates the harmony and unity between Heaven and humanity. Confucianism upholds 'benevolence' as the highest virtue, with the saying 'benevolence is conveyed through calligraphy, and calligraphy conveys benevolence.' Calligraphy is an expressive art form; the brush is an extension of the fingers. The speed, rhythm, movement, and pauses of the brush strokes are guided by the subjective consciousness of the calligrapher. Elements such as the concentration and dilution of ink, the dynamism and solidity of lines, the myriad variations of brushwork techniques, the use of white space as black, and the overall structural composition – all reflect the individual's aesthetic inclinations. Calligraphy can reveal the calligrapher's life experiences, knowledge, cultivation, and personality."
Jiaxi has a deep love for Chinese calligraphic culture, describing it as "the root of Chinese culture and art, an essential carrier of Chinese civilization, possessing boundless charm." He tirelessly shares with friends the beauty of calligraphy, its spiritual essence, and the profundity of traditional culture. His calligraphic works have also served as a medium for cultural exchange, spreading the ancient arts of the Chinese civilization to people around the world.

Jiaxi believes that a top-tier calligrapher must possess three essential conditions:
First, they must have their own artistic language. "What is meant by ''the Artist'? It refers to a big gun that has been proven correct by history and practice, accepted by the masses, and capable of influencing an entire generation."
Second, they must have a profound theoretical foundation. The thousands of years of cultural tradition and calligraphic history are what every calligrapher must understand and become familiar with, for only then can they truly comprehend the essence of calligraphy.
Third, and most crucially, they must have solid basic skills.
Despite being immersed in calligraphy for decades, Jiaxi still adheres to the four principles of "character structure, brushwork, composition, and ink application" whenever he wields the brush. He explains to us that the pursuit of these principles is also a pursuit of art itself. His large-character calligraphy exudes a powerful presence: dignified yet dynamic, upright yet varied, achieving ingenuity through thickness, and newness through antiquity, embodying a noble spirit and adhering to proper principles.
"Calligraphy is the art of time. As Sun Guoting said, 'First seek uprightness, then pursue the precarious and daring; once the precarious and daring are understood, return to uprightness and integrity. At the point of complete mastery, both the person and their calligraphy will have aged.' This notion of 'the person and their calligraphy aging' requires pouring one's entire life, spanning decades, into the art, leaving no room for falsehood or arrogance."

A Humble Gentleman, Smooth as Jade
Despite his accomplishments and acclaim, Jiaxi remains humble and driven, constantly striving to reach new heights in his calligraphic pursuits. His gentle and refined demeanor is reminiscent of the smooth and elegant qualities of jade, reflecting the harmony between his inner spirit and outward expression.
With an unwavering dedication to his art, Jiaxi often said, " My greatest masterpiece still lies ahead!" His words serve as a reminder that true mastery is a lifelong journey, one that requires constant growth, self-reflection, and an unwavering commitment to the art form.
